New Russian Military Doctrine Names the U.S.
and NATO as Main Foreign Threats
Dec 27, 2014
On Dec 26, 2014, AlertsUSA issued the following
related Flash message to subscriber mobile devices:

12/26 – Vladimir Putin signs new mil doctrine naming NATO, US as main foreign threats, retains strategy to use nukes if country or allies are under conventional attack.

What You Need To Know

Readers will recall that last week, AlertsUSA and Threat Journal reported on the announcement made by the White House that President Obama would be signing a bill from Congress which adds new sanctions on Russia and would codify into law the provision of lethal military aid to the Ukrainian government. (If you have not had a chance to read the piece, it is well worth taking a few min to review). This week Russia responded and they are clearly not backing down.

On Friday the 26th, AlertsUSA subscribers were notified via SMS messages to their mobile devices that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the country’s new military doctrine (See the original Russia version here (PDF)) which “reflects the emergence of new threats against its national security”, names the U.S. and NATO as the federation’s main foreign threats, and which retains the strategy to use nuclear weapons if the country or allies are under conventional attack.

According to the revised doctrine, “NATO’s military buildup” and the bloc’s expansion toward the Russian borders are among the main external threats to Russia’s security.

Other external threats include the development and deployment of the U.S. strategic missile defense system, the implementation of the ‘global strike’ doctrine, plans to place weapons in space as well as the deployment of high-precision conventional weapons systems.

So as to reinforce their message to the West, just a few hours prior to the new military doctrine being signed, Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces carried out another test of an RS-24 Yars ICBM with multiple warheads. Launched from the Plesetsk military cosmodrome in the country’s extreme northwest near the border of Finland, the missile flew across the length of Russia to it’s target at the Kura test range on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Far East.

AlertsUSA continues to closely monitor growing tension in Eastern Europe and the Ukraine and will issue additional alert messages to subscriber mobile devices as threats and events warrant.

NY Cop Killer May Have Been Responding
to ISIS Fatwa, More Attacks Expected
Dec 27, 2014
Between Dec 20-22, 2014, AlertsUSA issued the following
related Flash message to subscriber mobile devices:

12/20 – DHS/FBI warning law enfor agencies of need for extra vigilance after ambush-style slaying of two NYPD officers in Brooklyn. Possible Islamic terrorism angle.

12/22 – FBI warning law enf of ISIS plot to bomb interstate highway bridge(s). Initial alert focuses on I-55 Memphis-Arkansas Bridge sometime in Dec. Monitoring…

What You Need To Know

Twice this week AlertsUSA subscribers were notified via SMS messages to their mobile devices regarding domestic terrorism threats. Perhaps most important, late Saturday of last week subscribers were notified that law enforcement agencies nationwide were being warned of the need for extra vigilance following the ambush-style slaying of two New York City police officers in Brooklyn.

NY COP KILLER A MUSLIM, SYMPATHETIC TO JIHAD

Despite efforts by the mainstream media to paint the gunman as a disturbed individual deeply troubled by racial tensions and perceived heavy handedness of police towards the black population, investigations by independent media outlets also show cop killer Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley to be a Muslim, an Arabic speaker, and by his own words sympathetic to jihad. Much can be gleaned from his social media accounts (see this, this and this.)

Brinsley was also known to visit the notorious Al-Farooq Mosque in Brooklyn, which itself has a 20+ year history of support for terrorism. This specific mosque played host to al Qaeda co-founder Abdullah Azzam. Several of the mosque’s members were behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing plot, including the Blind Sheik, Omar Abdel-Rahman. A one time imam of the mosque, Gulshair Shukrijumah, was father to the notorious Adnan Shukrijumah, a top Al-Qaeda operative who, after being hunted by the FBI for more than a decade, was killed just weeks ago in a gun battle with Pakistani forces.

MORE ATTACKS EXPECTED

While the killing of the police officers is tragic, this incident is just one of an increasing number of Muslim attacks in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia. Readers are reminded that in mid October, AlertsUSA notified subscribers via SMS messages to their mobile devices that the FBI and Department of Homeland Security were warning law enforcement agencies nationwide about the threat of Islamic State-inspired terror attacks against police officers, soldiers and other government workers. The warning was issued after a string of messages and fatwas appeared on the internet and various social media outlets urging Muslims in Western countries to carry out attacks on “soldiers, patrons, and troops … their police, security and intelligence members.”

These messages were originally preceded by a lengthy fatwa issued by ISIS in September which calls for lone wolf Muslims to kill as many as 10 million Americans. ( Arabic Version (PDF) / Analysis ).

POLITICALLY INCORRECT TRUTHS

However politically incorrect it may be, as we close out 2014 there are two major domestic threats readers are urged to keep on their radar:

1. A major race war is brewing in the United States. Black on white violent crime is experiencing a major upswing nationwide. Watch your back.

2. An increasing tempo of random attacks, by Muslims, on law enforcement, members of the armed services and average citizens. Lest we forget, in just the last few months we have seen Muslim attacks in Australia, beheadings forfailure to convert in Oklahoma, multiple instances of attacks, by Muslims, on police (see this and this), attacks on soldiers and government officials in Canada (see this, this and this) and several European countries (see this, thisand this) and on, and on, and on.

And perhaps by design, the growing connection between militant black Americans and Islam is shaping up to be a deadly confluence. (see this andthis).

In both instances, we strongly recommend maintaining a high level of vigilance and situational awareness when out and about and if so motivated, avail yourself of local concealed firearm permits. These problems are not going away anytime soon, are expected to increase, and your best line of defense is increased awareness and a means of protecting yourself and family.

As has been the case for over 12 years, AlertsUSA continues to closely monitor the overall domestic terrorism threat environment and will immediately notify service subscribers of new alerts, warnings and advisories or any developments which signal a change the overall threat picture as events warrant.

What Happened to All the Ebola News Coverage ?
Dec 27, 2014
What You Need To Know

On Sunday of this week, highly respected investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson told Fox News that the CDC revealed to her they are currently tracking 1,400 possible Ebola cases in the United States, though they are not making the information public.

In addition, as of December 24th the World Health Organization reports a total of more than 19,400 cases of Ebola virus disease in the current outbreak, along with 7588 reported deaths. As previously reported, both the WHO and CDC estimate these numbers could be 4 or more times greater due to unreported cases and flawed record keeping.

As always, AlertsUSA continues to monitor developments with the spread of this virus and will immediately notify service subscribers of major changes in its spread to different regions, important notices and warnings by government agencies or any other major changes in the overall threat environment as events warrant
